Previously, I worked as a Project Scientist at IIT-Delhi, under the guidance of Dr. Niladri Chatterjee. During this time, I applied Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning techniques to evaluate machine translations without the need for reference sentences.

In my master's thesis worked under the supervision of Dr. Rakesh Chandara Balbantaray. Developed a hybrid system for low-resource language using OpenNMT (Deep learning Tool) and also applied some post-editing techniques to improve translation.

In this project, the focus was on Sign Language Recognition, wherein MATLAB was employed as the primary tool. The project aimed to develop a system capable of recognizing and interpreting sign language gestures. To achieve this, the k-nearest neighbor algorithm was utilized to compare various hand sizes and different skin tones, enabling the system to distinguish and interpret signs accurately
